Direct Download OR Buy

Enliven your spiritual quest with a lavishly illustrated, clairvoyant revelation of man's untold journey to Earth from the Pleiades millions of years ago, and the struggles faced in ensuing eras as souls matured into their ultimate destiny and Divinity.

This unusual book by Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami was actually read from the akasha in 1973 and spent 25 years entrusted only to his cloistered monastic order.

"The Lemurian Scrolls will enlighten all who read it and it will become a "Source" that will constantly be referred to by serious students, teachers, leaders and metaphysical and spiritual groups

Yoga’s Forgotten Foundation, Twenty Timeless Keys to Your Divine Destiny By Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami

Direct Download OR Buy

In spiritual life, without a foundation of good character and discipline, success in yoga will not be lasting. Sooner or later, the earthquakes in our personal life, the times of great stress and difficulty, will bring outbursts of anger or periods of discouragement, causing our higher consciousness to fall back to Earth.

A must-read for serious yoga practitioners, meditators and anyone deeply involved with transformative spiritual life, Yoga's Forgotten Foundation delves into the integrated approach to yoga as taught by the great masters of India. It is a cogent reminder to those who want to start at the end of the spiritual path that there is an essential beginning, the neglect of which portends failure and disappointment.

In 224 pages, with full-color Indian art, it explores the traditional foundation of yoga, twenty little-known guidelines on personal ethics, self-control and religious practice, called the yamas and niyamas. The yamas and niyamas have been preserved through the centuries as the first and second stage of the eight-staged practice of yoga. They provide the essential foundation to support our yoga practice so that attainments in higher consciousness can be sustained.

The book begins with a forward by the author's spiritual successor, Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami, and takes the reader step by step through noninjury, truthfulness, nonstealing, sexual purity, patience, contentment and other facets of virtue.

Grounded in a traditional Hindu point of view, yet admirably relevant to us all, the book discusses some of the toughest issues and challenges of modern life, including promiscuity, domestic abuse, child-rearing, overeating, gambling, vegetarianism, violence, injustice and pornography—relating them all to progress on the yoga path. It also explores the essential practices, including charity, worship, chanting mantras, austerity and scriptural study. 224 pages, full color.

Self & Samadhi By Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami

Direct Download

Echoing the ultimate teachings of Hindu scripture, Gurudeva, Sivaya Subramuniyaswami, spoke boldly of the Divinity within us.

This book is a collection of those teachings, nine inspired talks in which he urges us to mold our thoughts, emotions and way of life around this knowledge.

He explains that the Self is the core of you, the part of you that is identical to God in His Parasiva perfection. One of his trenchant teachings was "God is the Life of your life, your very Self."

The study of awareness is a great study. “I am aware.” The key to this entire
study is the discovery of who or what is the “I am.” It is the key to the
totality of your progress on the path of enlightenment.

What is awareness?
As you open your physical eyes, what is it that is aware of what you see?

When you look within, deep within, and feel energy, you almost begin to
see energy. A little more perception comes, and you do actually see energy,
as clearly as you see chairs and tables with your physical eyes open.

How To be Free By Joe Blow

How can we free ourselves from mental suffering? How can we unlock what the poet William Blake referred to as “the mind-forged manacles” - those unhelpful, unfounded and inflexible habits of thought which keep us from reaching our true creative potential?

This book provides practical advice on how to achieve this. But it also offers an imaginative holistic theoretical framework for an understanding of the nature of the universe, the psychological history of the human race and the meaning of life.

Lift the Veil Liberate Your Psychic Abilities : A free class to develop psychic abilities By Denise Freeman

Download

The author of this publication believes that psychic abilities are a God given gift and everyone has them to one degree or another. She also believe we were all made by God and therefore all paths lead to God. Many do not agree with this.

Thankfully, it really does not matter which side you personally have chosen. It will not affect your ability to use these gifts, whether you believe them to come from God or to be nothing more than one more step upon the evolutionary trail. They can work for you if you take the time to develop them.

This book was written from a non-religious standpoint. There may be instances where God is referred to, however it is not intended to be an attempt to convert anyone to any specific way of thinking. You should view the term God in whatever context you personally believe in.

It will not affect your personal results. Having said all of this, it is important to note that there is no magic pill anyone can give you that will instantly cause your psychic abilities to bloom forth like the flowers of spring. It takes time and effort to become good at anything in life.

How many people can pick up a musical instrument for the first time and play it perfectly? How many athletes win trophies the first time they pick up a ball? How many scientist and doctors know everything they must know to complete their jobs, without years of schooling?

So please do not expect to have full blown psychic abilities in a very short period of time. Occasionally, someone comes along with psychic abilities that snap open almost over night. This is extremely rare however and if you expect it to happen this way, you will probably be disappointed.

We can not guarantee these methods will work for everyone simply because we have no way of controlling the amount of effort or the quality of the effort you will personally put into it. However we can say that we have helped hundreds of people learn to develop their abilities and if you are willing to put in the effort, you can be one of them also.

The Synchronicity Key : The Hidden Intelligence Guiding the Universe and You By David Wilcock

Direct Download OR Buy

New York Times bestselling author David Wilcock unlocks the key to a universal life force that is influencing and guiding humanity toward enlightenment.

The Source Field Investigations was a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestseller that uncovered hidden science and lost prophecies to illuminate an entirely new understanding of our world today.

In his new book, The Synchronicity Key, Wilcock embarks on an astonishing investigation into what lies beyond this new understanding of our how our universe works—finding proof that everything in our lives is not only connected, it all influences everything else.

Using history, astrology, and synchronicity theory as well as concepts such as microgravitational structuring, spiritual geometry, quantum physics, and other new research, Wilcock shows that there is a hidden architecture within time, guiding individuals and nations through a system of enlightenment Joseph Campbell called the Hero’s Journey.

Historical events occur in shockingly precise, repeating cycles of time as a result. Once we understand and identify the hidden laws governing the fates of individuals and nations through seemingly random “synchronicity,” we are left with a remarkable blueprint of how best to lead our lives in this seemingly uncertain and confusing world.

Trance : From Magic to Technology By Dennis R. Wier

Download OR Buy

This book describes a new model for trance as well as practical techniques to analyse and design trances. Trance is used consciously and unconsciously not only by psychologists, therapists and hypnotists, but also yogis, priests, magicians, witches, advertisers, politicians, lawyers, addicts and psychotics.

Writing from his personal experience, Wier suggests that some of these ideas might represent new practical precision tools for psychologists as well as for those who work with the occult. Practical suggestions for meditators, yogis, witches and others are included to deepen trance and to increase the depth as well as terminating trance. Pathological trance and trance abuse are also described with suggestion on how they may be recognized and prevented.

The ability to move from the ordinary into an altered state of consciousness is one of the most valuable skills in both magic and religion. From the ceremonial magician to the shaman, using trance work to explore inner realms is essential to the magical process of healing, transcendence, and wisdom desired throughout diverse occult and spiritual traditions.

Trance-Portation offers a comprehensive and multi-spirited way to enter the inner realm. Blending the modern world with the ancient arts, Trance-Portation's first three chapters, Travel Planning, Crossing the Threshold, and Getting Started, offer preparatory suggestions including meditations and relaxations, breathing, warding, shifting gears, and returning.

Drawing on examples from varied traditions, from Western Mystery to Native American, Ancient Celtic to Eastern Mysticism, and peppered with folk lore and tales from popular science fiction stories, Trance-Portation explores spiritual journey work extensively, offering readers the chance to find their own ways into the inner realm, encounter their own guides and fellow travelers, and create divine relationships with the deities and gods and goddesses that they meet.

Yoga is a family of ancient spiritual practices originating in India. It is one of the six schools of Hindu philosophy. In India and across the World, Yoga is seen as a means to both physical health and spiritual mastery. Outside India, Yoga has become primarily associated with the practice of asanas (postures) of Hatha Yoga.

Yoga as a means of spiritual attainment is central to Hinduism (including Vedanta schools), Buddhism, and Jainism, and has influenced other religious and spiritual practices throughout the world. Hindu texts establishing the basis for yoga include the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and many others.

The four main paths of Yoga are Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Raja Yoga. A committed practitioner of yoga is referred to as a yogi, yogin (masculine), or yogini (feminine).

William Lilly (May 11, 1602 - June 9, 1681), was a famed English astrologer and occultist during his time. Lilly was particularly adept at interpreting the astrological charts drawn up for horary questions, as this was his speciality.

He caused much controversy in 1666 for allegedly predicting the Great Fire of London some 14 years before it happened. For this reason many people believed that he may have had started the fire, but there is no evidence to support these claims.

William Butler Yeats (13 June 1865 - 28 January 1939) was an Irish poet, dramatist, mystic and public figure, brother of the artist Jack Butler Yeats and son of John Butler Yeats. Yeats, though born to an Anglo-Saxon Protestant mother and father, was perhaps the primary driving force behind the Irish

Literary Revival and was co-founder of the Abbey Theatre. Yeats also served as an Irish Senator. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1923 for what the Nobel Committee described as "his always inspired poetry, which in a highly artistic form gives expression to the spirit of a whole nation".

William Blake (November 28, 1757 - August 12, 1827) was an English poet, painter, and printmaker. Largely unrecognized during his lifetime, his work is today considered seminal and significant in the history of both poetry and the visual arts. He has often been credited as being the most spiritual writer of his time.

According to Northrop Frye, who undertook a study of Blake's entire poetic corpus, his prophetic poems form "what is in proportion to its merits the least read body of poetry in the English language." Others have praised Blake's visual artistry, at least one modern critic proclaiming Blake "far and away the greatest artist Britain has ever produced."

While his visual art and written poetry are usually considered separately, Blake often employed them in concert to create a product that at once defied and superseded convention. Though he believed himself able to converse aloud with Old Testament prophets, and despite his work in illustrating the Book of Job, Blake's affection for the Bible was belied by his hostility for the church, his beliefs modified by a fascination with Mysticism and the unfolding of the Romantic movement around him. Ultimately, the difficulty of placing William Blake in any one chronological stage of art history is perhaps the distinction that best defines him.

Once considered mad for his single-mindedness, Blake is highly regarded today for his expressiveness and creativity, and the philosophical vision that underlies his work. As he himself once indicated, "The imagination is not a State: it is the Human existence itself."

Wicca is a Neopagan religion and a religious movement found in various countries throughout the world. It was first popularised in 1954 by a British civil servant named Gerald Gardner after the British Witchcraft Act was repealed. He claimed that the religion, of which he was an initiate, was a modern survival of an old witchcraft religion, which had existed in secret for hundreds of years, originating in the pre-Christian Paganism of Europe. Wicca is thus sometimes referred to as the Old Religion. The veracity of Gardner's claims cannot be independently proven, and it is thought that written Wiccan theology began to be compiled no earlier than the 1920s. Various related

Wiccan traditions have since evolved, or been adapted from, the form established by Gardner, which came to be called Gardnerian Wicca. These other traditions of Wicca each have distinctive beliefs, rituals, and practices. Many traditions of Wicca remain secretive and require that members be initiated. There is also a movement of Eclectic or Solitary Wiccans who do not believe that any doctrine or traditional initiation is necessary in order to practice Wicca.

William Wynn Westcott (November 17, 1848 - July 30, 1925) was a British esotericist, coroner, ceremonial magician, and Freemason. A doctor of medicine by profession, he became active in Freemasonry in 1871, becoming Master of his home Lodge in 1874 and later also of the prestigious Quatuor Coronati research lodge, as well as achieving other Masonic distinctions.

He studied the Kabbalah and by 1880 became active in the Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia before co-founding the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn with Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers in 1887. By then he was also active in the Theosophical Society. He devised and organized the Golden Dawn's rituals with Mathers and William Robert Woodman, who preceded him as Supreme Magus of the S.R.I.A. and like Westcott was one of the foremost exponents of Hermeticism of the time.

In 1896, he abandoned public involvement with the Golden Dawn due to pressure regarding his job as a Crown Coroner, with which it was seen as an unseemly association. He continued to head the S.R.I.A. and later was involved with the Golden Dawn breakaway Stella Matutina.

Theosophy

Emblem of the Theosophical Society

Theosophy, literally "wisdom of the divine" (in the Greek language), designates several bodies of ideas. Philosophers such as Emanuel Swedenborg and Jacob Boehme are commonly called theosophists. The word was revived in the nineteenth century by Helena Petrovna Blavatsky to designate her religious philosophy which holds that all religions are attempts by humanity to approach the absolute, and that each religion therefore has a portion of the truth. Together with Henry Steel Olcott, William Quan Judge, and others, Blavatsky founded the Theosophical Society in 1875. This society has since split into a number of organizations, some of which no longer use the term "theosophy".

A formal definition from the Concise Oxford Dictionary describes Theosophy as "any of various philosophies professing to achieve a knowledge of God by spiritual ecstasy, direct intuition, or special individual revelation; esp. a modern movement following Hindu and Buddhist teachings, and seeking universal brotherhood." Madame Blavatsky's theosophy would, however, not fall under this definition, as it is non-theistic.

Adherents of Theosophy maintain that it is a "body of truth" that forms the basis of all religions. Theosophy, they claim, represents a modern face of Sanatana Dharma, "the eternal truth," as the proper religion.

The tarot is a set of cards displaying allegorical representations. Originally used as playing cards, they later came to be used for divination.

Some traditions in mysticism and parapsychology hold that tarot cards can be used for divination or for accessing the unconscious. The cards are typically shuffled as a deck and laid out in one of a variety of patterns, often called "spreads", and then interpreted as a way of revealing facts about the subject of the reading. These might include the subject's thoughts and desires (known or unknown), or events that have taken place in their past or present or might take place in their future. Sometimes the subject must personally shuffle or deal the cards in order to affect the ordering.

Each card in the tarot deck has a variety of symbolic meanings that have evolved over the years, and many custom or themed tarot decks exist. The minor arcana cards have astrological attributions that can be used as general indicators of timing in the year, based on the Octavian calendar, and the court cards may signify different people in a tarot reading, with each suit's "nature" providing hints about that person's attitudes and physical and emotional characteristics.

Some schools of occult thought or symbolic study, such as the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, consider the tarot to function as a textbook and mnemonic device for their teachings. This may be one cause of the word arcana being used to describe the two sections of the tarot deck: arcana is the plural form of the Latin word arcanum, meaning "closed" or "secret."

The English word "Taoism" is used to translate the Chinese terms "Daojiao" (teachings/religion of the Dao) and "Daojia" (school of the Dao). The character Tao (or Dao, depending on the romanisation scheme) means "path" or "way", but in Chinese religion and philosophy it has taken on more abstract meanings. The compound "Daojiao" refers to Daoism as a religion; "Daojia" refers to the activity of scholars in their studies. It must be noted that this distinction is itself controversial and fraught with hermeneutic difficulty.

Much uncertainty exists over the meaning of "Taoism," not least because of its often being confused with such seemingly similar disciplines such as Zen. In some countries and contexts (for example, the "Taoism" organisations of China and Taiwan), the label is applied to Chinese folk religion, which would otherwise not have a readily recognisable English name. However many, if not most, of its practitioners would not recognise "Taoism" (in any language) as the name of their religion. Moreover, the several forms of what we might call "elite" or "organised" Taoism often distinguish their ritual activities from those of the folk religion, which some professional "Taoists" (Daoshi) tend to view as debased.

Chinese alchemy, astrology, cuisine, several Chinese martial arts, Chinese traditional medicine, fengshui, and many styles of qigong breath training disciplines have some relationship with Taoism.

The Hexagram of Solomon

The Key of Solomon is a grimoire or book on magic attributed to King Solomon (as several others were). The known copies originated in the Middle Ages and later. The book contains several paragraphs and terms inspired by Talmudic texts and the Jewish Kabbalah teaching.

It is possible that the Key of Solomon inspired later works such as the Lemegeton, also called The Lesser Key of Solomon, although there are many differences between both books. What may have inspired the Lemegeton are the conjurations and rituals of purification, and in a less important way, the clothing and magic symbols.

Several versions of the Key of Solomon exist, in various translations, and with minor or significant differences. Most manuscripts date to the 16th or 17th century, but a prototype in Greek still survives from the 15th century.

Rudolf Steiner (February 25, 1861 - March 30, 1925) was an Austrian philosopher, literary scholar, architect, playwright, educator, social thinker and esotericist. He was born in Kraljevica, Croatia, then part of the Austrian Empire. He is the founder of anthroposophy, a movement based on the notion that there is a spiritual world accessible to pure thought through a path of self-development, and many of its practical applications, including Waldorf education, biodynamic agriculture, anthroposophical medicine, and new artistic impulses, especially eurythmy.

Steiner advocated a form of ethical individualism, to which he later brought a more explicitly spiritual component. In his epistemological works, he advocated the Goethean view that thinking itself is a perceptive instrument for ideas, just as the eye is a perceptive instrument for light.

The Temple of the Rose Cross

The Rosicrucian Order is a legendary esoteric Order publicly documented in the early 17th century. This hermetic Order is viewed among earlier and many modern Rosicrucianists as a "College of Invisibles" from the inner worlds, composed of great Adepts, aiming to give assistance in mankind's spiritual unfoldment. When compared to human beings, the consciousness of these Adepts is said to be like that of demi-gods.

Several modern societies have been formed for the study of Rosicrucianism and allied subjects. However, many researchers on the history of Rosicrucianism argue that modern Rosicrucianists are in no sense directly derived from the "Brethren of the Rose Cross" of the 17th century. Instead, they are considered to be keen followers.

Moreover, some have viewed the 17th century Order as a literary hoax or prank, rather than an operative society. Others contend that history shows them to be the genesis of later operative and functional societies. Rosicrucianism has its roots in the western mystery tradition and is generally associated with the symbol of the Rose Cross. The Rosicrucian greeting is, "May the Roses bloom upon your Cross."

Aspects of Evocation
This essay is a short account of a personal exploration of the 'demons' of my own psyche. Rather than relying on existing approaches, I preferred to develop a purely personal approach. I give this account not to foist this particular approach onto others, but in the hope that it will assist those who are experimenting with different techniques.

Group Explorations in Ego Magic
This essay explores Ego Magic techniques within the context of a group. Originally conceived as part of a series of technical papers for IOT UK, I am now making this information available for anyone who cares to peruse it, as part of an ongoing series of releases related to magical group work in general.

Oven-Ready Chaos
Oven-Ready Chaos is an updated, online version of Phil Hine's original chapbook version of Chaos Condensed, which outlines a brief and simple "definition" of magic(k), a brief history of the school of practice called chaos magic and an outline of some of its basic approaches, and presents a number of simple techniques.

Permutations
Permutations is a collection of four essays which I feel throws up different perspectives - a 'window' if you like - into the diverse forces & feelings which have shaped my approach to magical work and concepts. Readers will discern a strong autobiographical element within these pages. This is a deliberate style, as I have found that the act of unveiling how magic has affected me personally, is a key to communicating the often abstract ideas which relate to the 'hidden' faces of magic - which are often difficult to carry across in bite-sized chunks. Simply saying "this is how such-and-such should be done" and leaving it at that - is not an approach which works for me. The magical power of 'concealment' is well-known. The power of revealing oneself, warts 'n' all, is less well-attested. These four essays reflect different areas of my magical work which I have found, for various reasons, to be at times, problematic. Writing is for me, both an earthing and an exorcism. This collection is not quite 'practical' in the same way that my other books are, but nonetheless, I feel that the reader may find some useful points herein, which cross all boundaries of magical activity.

Running Magical Workshops

Touched By Fire: Techniques of Modern Shamanism Volume III
The aim of this book is to go some way towards exploring the evolving perspective of 'Urban Shamanism'. It's not really a training manual like its predecessors, but gives one viewpoint (mine) on tackling the problem of living and acting from a broadly shamanic stance, within a city culture. Starting out with the premise that shamanic work is less of a purely personal trip and more related to the recovery of a functional role that individuals may come to play in their community, I have tried to present a clear picture of my own approach, in the hope that it may point others to explore what remains, largely, unknown territory.

Two Worlds and Inbetween: Techniques of Modern Shamanism Volume II
Two Worlds & Inbetween is a companion volume to Walking Between the Worlds. Whilst the latter dealt primarily with enhancing sensory awareness and the induction of trance states by various methods, this present work provides a simple schema for partitioning aspects of our experience, and suggests exercises within a broad conceptual framework for self-exploration and development.

Walking Between The Worlds: Techniques of Modern Shamanism Volume I
This book is a collection of practical exercises, the aim of which is to enhance awareness of the world around us. The first part of this book deals with basic sensory exercises, while the second half deals with trance states, and some of the basic group dynamics involvedin helping other people into them. Using these techniques will not make you a 'shaman/shamanka', but they are drawing on the shamanic outlook - which depends from an enhanced awareness of our environment, and the ability to mediate between the everyday, and the sacred aspects of our experience. Walking between the Worlds requires that we learn to extend our perceptions from the ordinary, to see the extra-ordinary which lies within it. Many of the techniques require group exploration, since it is impossible to growin total isolation from others.

Nikola Tesla (10 July 1856 - 7 January 1943) was an inventor, physicist, mechanical engineer, and electrical engineer. Born a Serbian, he was later granted American citizenship. Tesla is responsible for many revolutionary advances in the discipline of electricity and magnetism in the late 19th and early 20th century, and is credited as having pioneered modern electrical engineering, with which he helped usher in the Second Industrial Revolution.

Aside from his work on electromagnetism and engineering, Tesla is said to have contributed in varying degrees to the establishment of robotics, remote control, radar and computer science, and to the expansion of ballistics, nuclear physics, and theoretical physics. He is also credited as being the inventor of the radio, having successfully demonstrated wireless communication in 1893. Contemporary biographers of Tesla have deemed him "the man who invented the twentieth century" and "the patron saint of modern electricity."

While Tesla's fame rivaled that of any other inventor or scientist in history or popular culture at its peak, his eccentric personality and unbelievable and sometimes bizarre claims about possible scientific and technological developments led to his downfall. He was eventually ostracized and regarded as a "mad scientist" by the mainstream scientific community. Never having secured his finances, Tesla died impoverished at the age of 86.
